Drinking and Driving

  • What is a PSA? A PSA is a public service announcement that gives the public information.
  • Did you learn anything new about your topic? Yes I learned a lot about drinking and driving. It causes 1/3 of  all driving fatalities in the United States.
  • How do you feel about your final product? I could of been better. Part of my car got cut off and I didn't notice.
  • What was the most difficult part of the project? Trying to think of a good topic.
  • How are you feeling about your Digital Art Skills now? I think that my digital art skills have improved throughout the trimester.

  • What's your topic? My topic is drinking and driving.
  • Why do you care about it? I have seen people drink and drive and I just think it is a very important topic.
  • What do you want to say? I want to say that it isn't safe and is stupid.
  • How do you intend to portray your message?  I will put facts and statistics on my poster and pictures of crashes to prevent this.

  • What is your typography piece about? Why did you choose this subject? My typography was about a dolphin. I chose this subject because I like dolphins.
  • Did you choose specific words for your piece? Why did you choose the words you did? I chose a poem that I found online. I also used the words swim, dolphin, water, and blue. These words represent how dolphins swim, the dolphin itself, what dolphins live in, and the color of the water.
  • This is a tedious process, be honest! How are you feeling about typography now that your done? Hate it? Enjoying the final product? Was it worth your time? I fell that I am very bad at it I'm not a very patient person so it was tough for me. I suppose it's not that bad though, in the end it looks cool.
  • What might you try different next time? Next time I will choose an easier picture.

I like this picture because it looks so real. Maddi blends in great with the rock scene.
I like the picture because Maddi is up against the window looking in.

Pig Turtle In The Snow Ocean

I put snow in the ocean because you would never see that. I also put a pig head on a turtle because it was random and I liked it.

iCheer

Why did you choose these poses? I chose these poses because these a the some of the flyers poses in cheer leading. I was a flyer this is for the Varsity cheering team.
Why did you highlight the details that you did? I highlighted the bow, pom poms, and my socks because they should stand out. The bow is just a flashy piece and the pom poms is just one thing most people think of when cheer leaders are brought up. I highlighted my socks because I didn't have any shoes on when the picture was taken.
Any other little tidbits about the process? The process was hard at first then it got a lot easier as I went.

  • What do you think is most successful about this piece? I think the most successful part of this piece is that the filter that I used(sumi-e) makes you look at it differently.
  • What do you wish you could change? I wouldn't want to change anything I think that it is unique.
  • What was the most enjoyable part of this project for you? I liked seeing all of the different things that you can do. Also how all of the outcomes were completely different.
  • Did you find anything about this process challenging? No I did not find anything about this challenging.
  • Do you think you will use these filters in the future for anything? I possible might if I have a project where I have to use really good pictures.
  • How do you feel about your digital art skills so far? They are not very good, but my skills are slowly improving.

Maddi's picture is very nice. The angle of the picture is good too, it makes you focus on the whole flower not just a certain part. It is very vibrant and catching to the eye. If I had to chose one thing she could of done better I would say to use a bigger variety of colors next time, but the colors are still good.

Depth of field

Depth of field refers to the range of distance that appears acceptably sharp.
This compares shallow(low) depth of field and high depth of field. The picture on the left is a high depth of field it blurs out the person so you just focus on the plant. The picture on the right shows high depth of field because it blurred the background so you focus on the just the guy.
The five items I chose were my phone, my elastics, chap stick, phone charger, and deodorant. I chose  my phone because I always have my phone with me wherever I go. I like to smell good so I bring my deodorant with me. I have braces and have to wear elastics on them, so I have to wear them all the time. I have my phone charger because my phone dies quickly so I have my charger so I can charge it. Lastly, I have chap stick because my lips get really chapped especially during the winter. To tell you a little about myself I'm outgoing, loud, and I like to laugh a lot. I also like to make other people laugh.
